We’re excited to welcome two new team members to fivestar*!

Josh and Brittany bring a thoughtful mix of creativity, curiosity, and a people-first mindset that strengthens how we help organizations connect people, data, and purpose in meaningful ways.

At fivestar*, we focus on understanding how work actually happens, so the systems, tools, and insights we design support real progress. Both Josh and Brittany bring an approach that reflects that, with a strong focus on clarity, connection, and continuous improvement.

Meet Josh: Software Developer

Josh is driven by problem-solving and helping teams work more effectively through better use of technology and data. He enjoys identifying gaps, uncovering opportunities, and creating solutions that make day-to-day work more seamless.

“What I enjoy most is helping people see where improvements can be made and giving them the tools to work more efficiently.”

Outside of work, music plays a big role in Josh’s life. Whether he’s attending live shows (around 80 a year) or growing his vinyl collection, now close to 1,000 records, he’s always immersed in sound. He also spends time exploring 3D modeling and printing, bringing ideas to life in a different way.

Meet Brittany: Technical Project Manager

Brittany brings a strong passion for the human side of connecting people, data, and purpose. She’s energized by helping individuals understand how their work contributes to something bigger while ensuring they have the clarity and tools to act on it.

“When people can clearly see how their work connects to a larger purpose, they tend to be more engaged, thoughtful, and innovative.”

Outside of her role, Brittany runs two small businesses in the beauty and party planning spaces, which keeps her closely connected to trends, tools, and creative marketing strategies. In her free time, she enjoys reading (currently in her fantasy era), spending time with her husband, and relaxing with her Yorkie, Ally Mae, often outdoors at her family’s campground.

At fivestar*, every team member brings a unique perspective, and together, those perspectives shape how we approach our work. Josh and Brittany each add their own strengths to that mix, and we’re looking forward to what they’ll help build.
